Kekecewaan besar bukan tak beralasan. Meskipun telah meraih prestasi gemilang di tingkat kabupaten dan provinsi, Gregorius Attara nota bene adalah peringkat I, namun pada saat pengumuman peserta yang lolos di tingkat nasional nama Gregorius tidak tercantum.

Sebaliknya yang lolos justru peringkat 3 by. Peserta tersebut adalah Sunnu Wahyudi dari SMKN 2 Sanggata Utara. Dikabarkan diberangkatkan atas permintaan nasional dengan alasan Kalimantan Timur sebagai tuan rumah IKN.

“Saya sangat kaget dan kecewa,” ungkap Gregorius melalui sambungan panggilan Whatsapp, Selasa 25/6/2024 pagi dilansir dari Kaltimpost.co.id.

 

Seleksi yang dilalui Gregorius dari tingkat kabupaten hingga provinsi mencakup berbagai tes ketat seperti samapta fisik, MCU (Medical Check-Up), tes wawasan kebangsaan, wawancara, minat bakat, dan tes kepribadian. Di tingkat nasional, tes yang dihadapi sedikit berbeda dengan hilangnya beberapa tahapan. Meskipun demikian, Gregorius tetap berhasil meraih peringkat satu di tingkat provinsi.

Namun, pada saat pengumuman peserta yang lolos di tingkat nasional, nama Gregorius tidak tercantum.

“Saya sangat kaget dan kecewa,” ujar Gregorius melalui sambungan selular kepada wartawan. Senin 24/6/24 siang.

Hingga saat ini, Gregorius dan rekan-rekannya yang tidak lolos ke tingkat nasional masih menunggu kepastian apakah mereka akan dipanggil kembali untuk pengibaran bendera di Istana.

Siswa SMAN 1 Sendawar yang berusia 16 tahun dari kampung Asa itu masih menyimpan semangat dan berharap akan ada keadilan dalam proses seleksi Paskibraka di masa depan.

“Kami masih berharap bisa dipanggil lagi,” tambahnya penuh harap.

Ditambahkannya, tidak bisa diaksesnya link pengumuman resmi BPIP menambah kebingungannya dan ketidakjelasan.Gregorius Attara merasa perjuangannya tidak mendapat penghargaan yang layak.

Perasaan kecewa semakin mendalam ketika mengetahui bahwa peserta laki-laki yang terpilih justru peringkat dua dari Balikpapan, sedangkan peserta perempuan yang terpilih adalah peringkat dua dari Samarinda.

Tidak hanya Gregorius Attara yang mengaku kecewa, Koordinator Panitia Seleksi Paskibraka Kutai Barat Rhamadan yang mendampingi Gregorius sampai Jakarta juga menyampaikan hal senada

“Itulah yang kita alami saat ini, kenapa kita mengatakan sedih dan kecewa. Soalnya kita dari kabupaten sudah melaksanakan sesuai dengan ketentuan yang telah dibuat oleh BPIP. Proses rekrutmen kita sudah mengikuti proses seleksi dengan baik dan kita sudah menentukan siapa yang terbaik berdasarkan aplikasi Transparansi Paskibraka itu sendiri, yang bisa diakses oleh siapapun untuk melihat siapa yang terbaik,” tegasnya

Pada prosesnya, Rhamadan mengaku kaget, saat mengantar Gregorius Attara ke Jakarta di bandara. Yang seharusnya empat orang sesuai berita acara, yang dikirim lima orang: tiga putra dan dua putri. Ternyata, satu orang dari Kutai Timur dikirim tanpa pemberitahuan adanya perubahan kuota.

“Kami kecewa karena yang terbaik di kabupaten dan provinsi malah tidak lolos tingkat nasional, menjadi cadangan. Justru yang menjadi nomor satu di tingkat nasional adalah anak Kutai Timur yang tidak masuk dalam berita acara. Ini sangat mengecewakan,” tuturnya.

Pegawai Kesbangpol Kubar tersebut mengaku saat ini, tim dari Kutai Barat berupaya untuk berkomunikasi dan meminta kejelasan ke panitia provinsi. Jika tidak ada informasi yang jelas, tim akan berkomunikasi langsung dengan BPIP.

“Harapannya, BPIP bisa memberikan penjelasan sejelas-jelasnya. BPIP menghimbau kita untuk melaksanakan seleksi secara transparan. Namun sayang sekali, setelah melaksanakan dengan baik dan benar di kabupaten dan provinsi, di pusat justru tidak menggunakan aplikasi. Bahkan, alasan anak kita tidak lolos pun tidak jelas,” pungkasnya.
