Tim sepak bola Persikubar Putra memastikan lolos ke babak berikutnya Turnamen Perayaan HUT RI ke – 80 yang digelar di Lapangan bola Rarakuta Barong Tongkok. Persikubar Putra lolos setelah mengalahkan Tim Benteng Putra lewat adu pinalti.
Pertandingan berlangsung seru sejak peluit babak pertama ditiup. Dipertengahan babak pertama Persikubar Putra tertinggal satu gol, setelah pemain Benteng Putra berhasil memanfaatkan kemelut dan menciptakan gol, untuk keunggulan Benteng Putra.
Tertinggal dengan skor 1-0, Persikubar mencoba menaikkan ritme pertandingan, dan diakhir babak pertama Persikubar berhasil menyamakan kedudukan 1-1, setelah terjadi pelanggaran dikotak terlarang yang dilakukan pemain Benteng Putra dan wasit menunjuk titik putih, kesempatan ini tak disia-siakan pemain Persikubar berhasil mengeksekusi penalti.
Skor 1- 1 bertahan hingga peluit babak kedua ditiup dan adu pinalti diambil sebagai penentu kemenangan, Masing-masing tim menyiapkan 5 eksekutor.
4 pemain Benteng Putra berhasil mencatat nama di papan skor, satu pemain gagal, sedangkan 5 pemain Persikubar berhasil mencetak gol, dan membawa keunggulan bagi Persikubar Putra.
“Kami belum full tim, karena ada 4 pemain kami absen, tapi bersyukur kami bisa menang,” ungkap Manajer Tim Persikubar, Alsiyus.
