Polres Kutai Barat menggelar acara syukuran dalam rangka Hari Bhayangkara ke-79 pada Selasa, 1 Juli 2025, di halaman Mako Polres Kutai Barat.
Kegiatan yang berlangsung khidmat tersebut dipimpin langsung oleh Kapolres Kutai Barat, AKBP Boney Wahyu Wicaksono, S.I.K, dan dihadiri oleh unsur Forkopimda, para tokoh masyarakat, tokoh agama, tokoh adat, instansi pemerintah, serta para tamu undangan dari berbagai kalangan.
Dalam sambutannya, Kapolres menyampaikan bahwa peringatan Hari Bhayangkara bukan hanya sekadar perayaan, melainkan menjadi momentum penting untuk refleksi dan evaluasi atas pengabdian Polri kepada masyarakat.
Ia menekankan bahwa Polri harus terus bertransformasi menjadi institusi yang semakin Presisi—Prediktif, Responsibilitas, dan Transparansi Berkeadilan—dalam menjawab tantangan zaman dan dinamika kehidupan masyarakat.
Sebagai bagian dari rangkaian acara, dilakukan pemotongan tumpeng sebagai bentuk rasa syukur serta pemberian penghargaan kepada personel Polri yang berprestasi, baik dalam tugas operasional maupun kontribusi sosial.
Selain itu, diberikan pula apresiasi kepada para tokoh masyarakat yang dinilai turut berperan aktif dalam menjaga situasi Kamtibmas yang kondusif di wilayah Kutai Barat.
Peringatan Hari Bhayangkara ke-79 ini menjadi wujud nyata sinergi antara Polres Kutai Barat dengan seluruh elemen masyarakat dan pemerintah daerah. Dengan semangat kebersamaan, Polri diharapkan semakin kuat dalam mewujudkan keamanan, keadilan, dan pelayanan yang optimal bagi seluruh warga Kutai Barat.
