Kepolisian Sektor Bentian Besar berhasil mengungkap peredaran narkotika jenis shabu-shabu dalam rangka Operasi Antik Mahakam 2025. Pengungkapan dilakukan pada Sabtu, 26 Juli 2025 sekitar pukul 02.00 WITA di Mess salah satu perusahaan sawit yang berada di Kampung Jelmu Sibak, Kecamatan Bentian Besar, Kabupaten Kutai Barat. Dalam operasi ini, petugas menemukan sejumlah barang bukti narkotika serta perlengkapan yang diduga digunakan untuk mengedarkan dan mengonsumsi shabu-shabu.
Kapolsek Bentian Besar melalui Kasat Resnarkoba Polres Kutai Barat menyampaikan bahwa pengungkapan bermula dari informasi masyarakat yang melaporkan adanya aktivitas mencurigakan terkait penyalahgunaan narkotika di lokasi tersebut. Tim Unit Reskrim Polsek Bentian Besar segera melakukan penyelidikan dan berhasil menggerebek salah satu mess yang ditempati oleh seorang pria berinisial RM (50).
Dari hasil penggeledahan, petugas menemukan tujuh poket kecil narkotika jenis shabu dengan berat kotor 1,52 gram, sebuah timbangan digital, alat hisap, plastik klip bening, serta uang tunai pecahan seratus ribu rupiah sebanyak lima lembar. Tersangka RM mengakui bahwa barang haram tersebut adalah miliknya dan diperoleh dari seseorang yang saat ini masih dalam penyelidikan pihak kepolisian.
Saat ini tersangka dan seluruh barang bukti telah diamankan di Polsek Bentian Besar untuk dilakukan proses penyidikan lebih lanjut. Pihak kepolisian terus melakukan pengembangan guna mengungkap jaringan peredaran narkotika di wilayah Kutai Barat, serta mengimbau masyarakat untuk berperan aktif dalam memberikan informasi demi terciptanya lingkungan yang bersih dari narkoba.# Lie/Polres Kubar.Â
