Pemerintah Kabupaten Kutai Barat melalui Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Kampung (DPMK) menggelar Rapat Koordinasi Petinggi dan Kepala Adat se- Kabupaten Kutai Barat, acara digelar di Balai Agung Aji Tulur Jejangkat (ATJ), Selasa,(5/8/2025).
Rakor digelar guna mewujudkan tata kelola pemerintahan yang bersih, akuntabel, terpercaya berintegritas, profesional, dan bebas dari praktik korupsi.
Bupati Kutai Barat, Frederick Edwin yang membuka Rakor secara langsung, dalam sambutannya mengungkapkan rakor digelar untuk membahas bersama isu strategis dan hal-hal yang urgen menjadi permasalahan pada pembangunan di kampung.
Dalam forum ini kita saling berdiskusi untuk memperoleh masukan bahkan motivasi untuk memampukan diri memberikan pelayanan terbaik, adil, dan merata kepada seluruh warga, serta mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
Bupati Kutai Barat mengajak sebagai pelayan atau abdi masyarakat tentu saja kita sepakat bahwa melaksanakan tata kelola pemerintahan yang bersih, akuntabel dan terpercaya membutuhkan sosok yang berintegritas, profesional, dan bebas dari praktik korupsi dan gratifikasi.
Korupsi dan gratifikasi adalah musuh utama pembangunan. Praktik-praktik ini tidak hanya merugikan keuangan negara, tetapi juga merusak tatanan sosial, menghambat kemajuan, dan menurunkan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap pemerintah.
“Saya ingin mengajak seluruh Petinggi dan Lembaga Adat di lingkungan Pemerintah Kabupaten Kutai Barat untuk bersama-sama memerangi korupsi dan gratifikasi,” tegas Bupati.
Sebagai Aparatur Pemerintahan kampung, kita memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga marwah pemerintahan dan membangun citra positif di mata masyarakat, menjadi suri tauladan bagi masyarakat,” ujarnya.
“Kita harus menjadi contoh dalam integritas, kejujuran, dan ketaatan pada peraturan perundang-undangan,” tandas Bupati.
Kita juga harus mampu menolak segala bentuk gratifikasi, baik dalam bentuk uang, hadiah, fasilitas, maupun bentuk lainnya yang dapat mempengaruhi keputusan dan tindakan kita dalam menjalankan tugas.#Lie
