Penolakan tambang batu bara ilegal alias koridor di kabupaten Kutai Barat terus bermunculan tidak hanya dari aktivitas peduli lingkungan, penolakan juga muncul dari masyarakat yang kampungnya dilalui oleh angkutan emas hitam ilegal tersebut.

Sejumlah penolakan muncul dari warga kelurahan Simpang Raya yang memasang baliho melarang angkutan koridor dan dan truk sawit melintasi jalan di kawasan kelurahan Simpang Raya Kecamatan Barong Tongkok.Apabila melanggar akan dikenakan sanksi.

Aksi sama muncul dari warga kampung Belempung Ulaq kecamatan Barong Tongkok yang melarang angkutan batu bara ilegal dan angkutan Cruid Palm Oil melewati jalan kampungnya.
Aksi penolakan ini dengan memasang baliho di simpang tiga kampung Sumber Sari dan Sekolaq Joleq serta Belempung Ulaq.
