Bupati Kutai Barat, Frederick Edwin resmikan Halte SDN 001 Barong Tongkok dan Ruang Pengendali CCTV Lalu Lintas Jalan Dinas Perhubungan Kutai Barat,Kamis ( 24/4/2025).
Dengan diresmikannya fasilitas ini Bupati Kutai Barat, Frederick Edwin dapat di manfaatkan sesuai peruntukkannya serta juga dapat dijaga dengan baik keberlangsungan fungsi untuk jangka panjang.
“Demikian juga untuk ruang pengendali CCTV ini sangat penting terlebih lalu lintas yang padat dan situasi meningkatnya kebutuhan mobilitasnya di jalan raya semakin menuntut adanya pengawasan yang efektif untuk memastikan keselamatan dan kelancaran di jalan raya,” ucapnya.
Bupati juga menyampaikan terima kasih dan apresiasi untuk pemimpin terdahulu yang sudah membangun halte dan ruang pengendali serta kamera pengawas, kedepan kita akan upayakan penambahan.
Terpisah Kepala Dishub Kubar, Nopandel mengungkapkan pembangunan ruang pengendali dan unit CCTV dan 80 unit kamera, 50 kamera Pan Tilt Zoom ( PTZ) dan 30 unit statis menggunakan anggaran tahun 2024.
Kamera pemantau lalu lintas di sepanjang jalan, mulai Simpang Tugu Jam Melak sampai Simpang Bisnis Center, dilanjutkan ke depan Polres Kubar, lanjut ke Busur sampai Simpang Raya.Lalu Sumber Sari dan lewat depan RUSD HIS, Simpang 3 Belempung terakhir dalam komplek perkantoran Pemkab Kutai Barat.
Untuk diketahui Kamera PTZ adalah kamera yang dapat dikontrol dan dapat bergerak melalui 3 sumbu. Umumnya kamera yang mendukung kendali jarak jauh atas arah (panning dan tilting) dan zooming (increasing dan decrease).
