SMKN 3 Sendawar bekerjasama dengan PT Pamapersada Nusantara melaksanakan kegiatan Guru tamu dari industri dengan Program Karyawan Mengajar dalam rangka berbagi pengalaman industri untuk peserta didik dan guru produktif. Kegiatan guru tamu dilaksanakan di SMKN 3 Sendawar yang beralamat di Ngenyan Asa, Kecamatan Barong Tongkok, Kabupaten Kutai Barat,  Rabu, 15 Mei 2024.

Kepala SMKN 3 Sendawar, Ibu Hj. Hayani mengatakan pihaknya menerima dengan baik kegiatan karyawan mengajar dari PT Pamapersada Nusantara.

” Harapannya kegiatan guru tamu dapat terus terlaksana,” harapnya.

Pada kesempatan tersebut kepala SMKN 3 Sendawar juga menyampaikan usulan program kerjasama lain seperti kunjungan industri dan guru magang agar dapat terlaksana.

Sementara itu PT Pamapersada Nusantara yang diwakili oleh CSR Officer Sabinus Jumat, menyampaikan bahwa untuk kegiatan Karyawan Mengajar akan menjadi agenda yang akan terus dilaksanakan sesuai dengan permintaan dari sekolah.

” Syaratnya dengan mengajukan pelatihan apa yang dibutuhkan oleh sesuai dengan kebutuhan guru dan peserta didik,” terang Sabinus.

Lebih lanjut melalui kegiatan guru tamu ini adalah terbangunnya kerjasama antara SMKN 3 Sendawar dengan Industri dan terjaga dengan baik, dapat berlanjut, dan bisa memberikan manfaat positif bagi kedua belah pihak.

Adapun tujuan dari Kegiatan guru tamu tersebut adalah :

(1) Memberikan motivasi dan inspirasi kepada peserta didik

(2) Memberikan informasi peluang bekerja di Dunia Kerja/Dunia Industri

(3) Membekali peserta didik dengan ilmu dan pengetahuan dari Dunia Usaha/Dunia Industri

(4) Meningkatkan kepercayaan diri peserta didik

Kegiatan yang berlangsung di Ruang Praktik Siswa (RPS) masing-masing jurusan dan didampingi oleh guru-guru produktif sesuai kompetensi keahlian.

Sebelum memulai kegiatan pembelajaran, peserta didik mendapatkan motivasi dari CSR Officer Mochammad Irzal Fauzi untuk meningkatkan semangat belajar dan berani mencoba hal baru untuk mengembangkan diri baik dalam hal kompetensi maupun keterampilan.

Kompetensi Keahlian yang mengikuti kegiatan guru tamu adalah Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan (DPIB), Teknik Alat Berat (TAB), dan Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Otomotif (TKRO).

Untuk kompetensi keahlian Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan (DPIB) dengan pengajar Zefanya Marum Lumbanraja sebagai Mine Survey Section Head memberi materi tentang dasar pengoperasian Drone dan dasar penggunaan Total Station untuk pemetaan.
