Tahapan Pilkada Serentak Kutai Barat tahun 2024 terus bergulir.Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kabupaten Kutai Barat menggelar Debat Publik Pertama Calon Bupati dan Calon Wakil Bupati Kubar pada Senin (14/10/2024) di Grand Ball room Hotel Mercure Kota Samarinda.
Usai pelaksanaan debat pertama itu, Pasangan Calon Bupati Frederick Edwin- Nanang Adriani yang diusung Partai 11 partai ini, bersyukur debat pertama berjalan dengan lancar.
Debat Publik dengan tema Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) berdaya saing dan pertumbuhan ekonomi berbasis potensi/kearifan lokal menuju Kutai Barat sejahtera dan merata.
Frederick Edwin menuturkan, Pasangan FENA memiliki visi dan misi yang sejalan dengan tema debat.
Sebab Paslon FENA menitik beratkan program-program unggulannya pada peningkatan SDM agar memiliki daya saing.
” Selain itu kami juga miliki program yang mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi berbasis potensi dan kearifan lokal, misalnya melalui UMKM,” ungkapnya.
Selain itu fokus pembangunan Paslon FENA untuk mensejahterakan masyarakat Kubar dan merata di seluruh wilayah Kubar.
Pada debat publik perdana, Paslon FENA tampil luar biasa, mematahkan isu negatif, yang menyebut Paslon FENA akan gagal dalam debat, namun isu tersebut terbantahkan.
Sementara itu masyarakat yang menyaksikan debat mendukung program-program Paslon FENA.
“Kita dukung program yang sesuai kebutuhan kita, harapan kita dalam membangun bukan karena kepentingan tapi kebutuhan benar-benar dilakukan, jangan sampai ada kegiatan misalnya semenisasi puluhan meter masuk kedalam hutan, didalam tidak ada rumah penduduk,ya ga ada kebutuhannya,” ungkap pria yang meminta namanya tak disebutkan.#
