Kasatlantas Polres Kubar, Iptu Decky J Sasiang melalui PS. Kanit Gakkum Sat Lantas Polres Kutai Barat,Aipda Apriadi Tului membenarkan telah terjadi kecelakaan yang menyebabkan korban meninggal dunia.

Korban dikenali bernama Stefanus Lendjau (34) merupakan pegawai honorer Pemadam Kebakaran (Damkar) Kabupaten Kutai Barat.

“Saat itu korban izin keluar,untuk pergi makan siang,” ucapnya.

Lanjutnya tak lama berselang korban berangkat,kami dihubungi melalui sambungan telepon mengabarkan bahwa korban kecelakaan.Ia bersama rekan-rekan Damkar yang piket langsung menuju rumah sakit.

“Kami sedikit shock tidak menyangka korban sudah meninggal dunia,” pungkasnya.

Jenazah korban akan dibawa kerumah duka yang ada di kawasan Busur Kelurahan Barong Tongkok Kecamatan Barong Tongkok.#
