Pemberitaan yang menyebutkan Dewan Pengurus Pusat ( DPP) Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat ( LSM) Taruna Gharda Mandiri (TGM), yang di Ketuai oleh Alsiyus mengajukan proposal ke perusahaan dengan mencatut nama Bupati Kutai Barat dan menekan serta mengintimidasi perusahaan.

Dalam proposal tersebut berisi permohonan bantuan untuk biaya transportasi dan akomodasi dalam jumlah besar terkait acara pelantikan Bupati Kutai Barat terpilih di Jakarta.

Bahkan dalam pemberitaan tersebut tendesius menyebut ada penekanan dan intimidasi,perusahaan mengaku bahwa mereka merasa tertekan dan diintimidasi untuk memberikan dana dengan dalih yang tidak benar.

Tak ingin polemik berkepanjangan terkait hal tersebut Ketua Umum DPP TGM Alsiyus membantah keras jika dirinya disebut menekan dan mengintimidasi perusahaan menggunakan nama LSM TGM dan mencatut nama Bupati Kutai Barat untuk mendapatkan dana menghadiri pelantikan Bupati Terpilih.

“Saya klarifikasi hal tersebut tidak benar, tidak ada hal saya lakukan seperti itu,saya tidak pernah mencatut nama Bupati Kutai Barat untuk kepentingan pribadi,” tegas Alsiyus, Jumat( 21/2/2025).

Alsiyus menuturkan adapun kronologinya bahwa benar miliki anggota puluhan ribu, bahwa pelantikan di Jakarta banyaklah anggota yang ingin menghadiri langsung pelantikan tersebut, minta ikut ke Jakarta.Tapi kamikan tidak memiliki cukup dana,nah untuk berangkatnya ada yang pinjaman, dana pribadi untuk berangkat,karena kami tidak mungkin minta ke pemerintah karena kami LSM.

“Kebetulan ada teman dari PT MAS, saat itu mereka katakan jika ada keperluan apa-apa bisa kita bicarakan.Jadi pas ketemu Jumli ( saat itu masih kerja di PT MAS ), saat itu Jumli menyarankan coba buat proposal,jadi proposal dibuat atas permintaan da dititip dengan pak Jumli yang urus semuanya,jadi saya tidak ikut- ikutan urusan tersebut,”  ucap Alsiyus.

Menjelang saat mendekati akan berangkat kami dihubungi pihak PT MAS menyebutkan ada anggota yang mengantar uang.Memang dalam permohonan  tersebut sesuatu kebutuhan untuk 13 orang tersebut perorang Rp 12 juta perorang.

“Kami untuk 13 orang itu kurang lebih butuh dana Rp 156 juta, tapi itu permohonan Tetapi PT MAS melalui utusannya pak  Hanif memberikan Rp 1 juta,ya kami ucapkan terima kasih kepada pimpinan PT MAS, Kami terima dengan ikhlas tidak pernah menekan dan mengintimidasi pihak perusahaan,karena saya meminta dan memohon kepada orang itu yang saya ikhlas terima apa yang diberikan,” tandas Alsiyus.

Alsiyus juga menyayangkan klaim media Jurnalkasus.id yang memberitakan tanpa konfirmasi kepada pihak TGM, bahkan menyebut sudah mengkonfirmasi padahal ketua umum DPP TGM mengaku tidak pernah sekalipun dihubungi oleh wartawan.

Alsiyus juga keberatan dengan pemberitaan yang menyebutkan ia menekan dan mengintimidasi seorang manajer perusahaan tambang batu bara di Kutai Barat y identitasnya berinisial AB dalam pemberitaan tersebut “Alsiyus disebut menghubungi AB lewat telepon dan mengatakan, ‘Kami adalah tim yang memenangkan Bupati terpilih. Kami orang dekat Bupati, jadi perusahaan Anda harus membantu. Jika tidak, Anda akan tahu risikonya. Selain itu Alsiyus disebut memeras pengusaha baru di Kubar berinisial N senilai Rp 130 juta tahun 2024.

” Sekali lagi saya tegaskan, hal tersebut fitnah dan tidak benar saya tidak pernah melakukan seperti yang dituduhkan,” tegas Alsiyus.

Alsiyus juga menyayangkan dalam pemberitaan Jurnalkasus.id tidak mengedepankan Cover both side sehingga berita lebih berimbang.Pasalnya wartawan media tersebut tidak pernah sekalipun mengkonfirmasi hal tersebut kepadanya maupun ke pihak perusahaan.

“Dan kami juga ingin menegaskan tidak benar disebut tidak mau di konfirmasi  sebab hingga detik ini wartawan tersebut tidak pernah konfirmasi saya, demikian juga dengan pihak perusahaan mengaku tidak pernah dihubungi media tersebut,” ucapnya.

Terkait pemberitaan ini Ketua DPP TGM juga telah melayangkan hak jawab dan koreksi ke meja redaksi Jurnalkasus.id.Namun jika hak jawab dan hak koreksi tidak digubris pihaknya akan melakukan pengaduan media Jurnalkasus.id ke Dewan Pers

Alsiyus juga menyinggung terkait daftar nama yang beredar,benar nama-nama tersebut anggotanya.

“Nama yang ada karena tidak ada dana tidak berangkat,kami yang berangkat menggunakan dana sendiri.Kemudian terkait keberangkatan wartawan media ternama di Kaltim.Beliau berangkat dibiaya oleh saudara Hengki, tidak ada kaitannya dengan proposal tersebut,” tegas Alsiyus.

Hal ini di benarkan oleh Ketua Kadin Kubar, Hengki mengatakan untuk biaya keberangkatan wartawan ia yang menanggungnya.

Sementara itu terpisah Bupati Kutai Barat, Frederick Edwin menegaskan dirinya keberatan dengan pemberitaan yang disebut mencatut namanya sebab ia tidak pernah memerintahkan untuk meminta bantuan dana kepihak manapun dalam kaitannya pelantikan Bupati dan Wakil Bupati di Jakarta.
